At Greensmart Manufacturing we understand that purchasing a home is a major decision and process, therefore we strive to assist the new home owner to achieve their goals and dreams.

We construct a premium home with premium products. Home packages are offered from a lock -up stage through to a complete home, with flexibility in mind for the new purchaser. If our standard designs do not meet your needs, we can work with you to create your own custom plans.

Greensmart’s SIP prefabricated packages are built in a factory controlled environment. Greensmart’s homes are engineered and built to the specific area where the home is going to be located. The homes are built in sections and are put together by a builder on your building site.

The key difference from other home builders is the use of Structural Insulated Panels, or SIPs. SIPs are building components that have been in commercial use for over 30 years. They typically consist of a rigid insulating material sandwiched between inner and outer membranes of oriented strand board (OSB).

The SIPs behave structurally like an I-beam and exhibit superior thermal properties when compared to standard frame construction. They have low density blown insulation, and may have a higher initial cost than conventional framing methods. However, their superior structural and thermal properties, ability to be manufactured to high dimensional tolerances and their potential to speed up home assembly make SIPs a compelling technology for site built and factory built homes.

The building process begins at the design phase. Greensmart uses state of the art computer aided design (CAD) programs which aid in customizing floor plans and producing drawings and material requirement lists. Once designed, the building process begins. This process is similar to what you've seen during the construction of houses in your neighborhood. The quality materials, attention to detail and the same building codes and standards are used and observed.
